Brussel Sprout Salad with Bacon & Pear

This savory dish is perfect for your next fall gathering. Thinly sliced brussel sprouts are accompanied by crispy bacon, salty parmesan and perfectly complimented by a touch of maple syrup and sweet juicy pears.

RECIPE:
  • 12 oz brussel sprouts, finely shaved
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked + coarsely chopped (pancetta works great as well!)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan (plus more for serving)
  • 1 pear, chopped

DRESSING:

  • 3 tbsp EVOO
  • fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • fresh cracked pepper, to taste

OPTIONAL ADD INS:

roasted walnuts (coarsely chopped), finely chopped parsley, feta or goat cheese.
