This savory dish is perfect for your next fall gathering. Thinly sliced brussel sprouts are accompanied by crispy bacon, salty parmesan and perfectly complimented by a touch of maple syrup and sweet juicy pears.
RECIPE:
- 12 oz brussel sprouts, finely shaved
- 4 strips bacon, cooked + coarsely chopped (pancetta works great as well!)
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan (plus more for serving)
- 1 pear, chopped
DRESSING:
- 3 tbsp EVOO
- fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- kosher salt, to taste
- fresh cracked pepper, to taste
OPTIONAL ADD INS:
roasted walnuts (coarsely chopped), finely chopped parsley, feta or goat cheese.
